Biolase Technology Inc.

The San Clemente manufacturer of dental, cosmetic, aesthetic and surgical products narrowed its losses in the third quarter. The company said it lost $873,479, or 5 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $6.7 million, or 41 cents a share, which included a noncash write-off of $5.1 million in costs related to the acquisition of certain technology assets. Sales climbed to $2 million from $87,686.
