BUENA PARK
Ms. America 2000 Susan Jeske will be addressing Buena Park High School students today. Jeske, a native of Littleton, Colo., will talk about the tragic campus shooting that occurred in her hometown earlier this year and the recurring problem of school violence.
Her visit coincides with the high school’s Campaign Against Violence Week. Jeske is also an activist for Students Against Violence and is the spokeswoman for the United Student Aid Assn., which is dedicated to helping students attend college. The assemblies are not open to the public.
