INET in Long-Distance Service Joint Venture

Coyote Network Systems in Westlake Village said its subsidiary, INET Interactive Network System, and Direct Technologies International LLC have united to provide wholesale international long-distance services.

The joint venture will be managed through INET. Coyote Communications Services will provide network operations and support services.

“The INET-DTI joint venture will leverage prior investments,” said Daniel W. Latham, president and chief operating officer of Coyote Network Systems.

“INET is presently reviewing other acquisitions and joint ventures to position itself as a competitive force in the carrier market and a major contributor to shareholder value.”

Based in Columbia, S. C., Direct Technologies provides wholesale international long-distance services. INET provides retail international long-distance services to affinity groups, such as those with the same ethnic background.

Coyote designs and builds communications networks for emerging and entrepreneurial carriers.
