ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Health Care Property Investors Inc.: The Newport Beach health care real estate investment trust said third-quarter funds from operations rose 9% to a record $26.5 million, or 81 cents a share, from $24.3 million, or 77 cents a share, for the like period last year. Net income totaled $26.1 million, or 80 cents a share, 14% higher than the $22.8 million, or 72 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue advanced 24% to $52.2 million.
