Veronex Technologies Inc.: The Irvine designer and developer of computer software products posted net income of $1.5 million, or 18 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, contrasted with a net loss of $1.1 million, or 15 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 31 totaled $2.2 million. No revenue was reported for the prior-year period.
