HomeBuilder.com in Thousand Oaks, part of Homestore.com’s family of real estate Web sites, said it has more than doubled its database of builders and number of homes viewed since the site was launched a year ago.

The site boasts a year-over-year 100% increase in builders to 14,500, and a 150% jump over last year to 15 million new homes viewed monthly by consumers.

The company said it has delivered nearly 180,000 leads to builders as a result of the traffic influx. Consumers log on to view floor plans and photos, take virtual tours, research new communities or search for a custom builder.
