The City Council will decide at its meeting tonight whether to spend nearly $70,000 to develop a plan to tie together the city’s extensive but broken set of hiking, biking and horse trails.
City officials suggested the City Council hire the Sacramento-based open space and recreation planning firm the Dangermond Group to expand and integrate its trail system. The consultants would update the city’s maps of open spaces and sensitive habitats to help with future planning and development, the city said.
The City Council will meet at 7 p.m. at council chambers, 25201 Paseo de Alicia, Suite 150.
