SAN CLEMENTE
State Sen. Bill Morrow (R-Oceanside) will speak to students at San Clemente High School on the perils of drug abuse today during two assemblies in observance of Red Ribbon Week.
The first assembly will take place from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m., and the second is scheduled from 9:30 to 10 a.m.
Morrow also will be distributing bookmarks encouraging students to pursue drug-free, healthful lifestyles.
Red Ribbon Week is observed annually Oct. 23-31 as part of an effort to encourage students across the country not to tolerate drugs.
