SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:

BREA

* South Poplar Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 12:57 p.m. Sunday.

* East Imperial Highway: A petty theft was reported in the 1100 block at 2:43 p.m. Saturday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Brookhurst Street: Police responding to a bar fight arrested an Anaheim man and a Carson man on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in the 12000 block at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* 19th Street: A woman’s next-door neighbor threw a garbage can at her, and it hit a wall in the 600 block at 7:53 a.m. last Tuesday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Imperial Drive and Westchester Lane: A burglary at a construction site was reported at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday. Various commercial tools totaling $1,500 in value were reported stolen from a shed.

* Avenida de la Carlota: Two laptops and a couple of cases of soda were reported stolen from a business in the 24000 block at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* La Plata Drive: A residence in the 24900 block was reported broken into at 9:05 p.m. Oct. 19. The burglar apparently entered through the den window and stole an undisclosed amount of jewelry and coins.

ORANGE

* East Woodbine Road: A theft from a car was reported in the 3600 block at 10:10 a.m. Thursday.

* East Meats Avenue: A car theft was reported in the 1900 block at 11:31 a.m. Thursday.

YORBA LINDA

* Lynnbrook Plaza: A grand theft was reported in the 5000 block at 9:49 p.m. Sunday.

* Parkview Terrace Lane: A grand theft was reported in the 19000 block at 7:52 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Monday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, La Habra, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Placentia, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park and Westminster.
