Chapman Wins Ninth in a Row

The Chapman men’s soccer team ran its winning streak to nine with a 1-0 victory over Whittier in a nonconference game Monday at Chapman.

Carlos Inga scored on a header 27 minutes into the game for the Panthers, who outshot Whittier, 27-10.

Brandon Avery made one save to earn his sixth shutout of the season for Chapman (13-3-1).

Chapman 3, Whittier 0--Terra Tileh-Kooh, Aja Cordova and Jennifer Borrell scored goals for the visiting Panthers (11-4).
