Valley’s Century of Change
Calling all history buffs: The Times plans to spotlight events of the past 100 years that helped shape the San Fernando Valley and nearby areas, and we need your help.
We’re looking for readers’ suggestions on those moments--both great and small--that marked the region’s development from oak-dotted grasslands into a vast expanse of homes and businesses. Earthquakes and the arrival of water we know about; we’re especially looking for offbeat or lesser-known events.
