ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS
Corinthian Colleges Inc.: The Santa Ana-based operator of for-profit career colleges reported record net income of $2.4 million, or 23 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter, compared with net income of $295,000, or 2 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 advanced 27% to $38.6 million.
