Colorado State Defeats Utah

Dallas Davis returned two punts for touchdowns, the second a dazzling 56-yarder with 2:35 remaining, to give Colorado State a 31-24 victory over Utah Thursday night in Fort Collins, Colo.

Kevin McDougal, the Mountain West Conference’s leading rusher, ran for 115 yards on 28 carries to help the Rams (5-3, 2-2) hand Utah (6-2, 3-1) its first conference loss of the season.
