Cal Lutheran Names 7 to Regents Board

Cal Lutheran University’s 100-member Convocation elected five people and reelected two others to the 34-member Board of Regents.

The Convocation elects the Board of Regents and offers help and services to the university, including fund-raising, recruiting and spiritual support. Regents serve three-year terms and help direct university policy.

The newly elected members are: Jane Lee Winter, owner and president of Town & Country Travel and a resident of Thousand Oaks; Jim Swenson, former owner and president of Details Inc. and a resident of Dana Point; William Dallas, chairman and chief executive of First Franklin Financial Corp. and a resident of Lake Sherwood; Shawn Howie, vice president of finance and treasurer of Kaufman and Broad Home Corp. and a resident of Santa Monica; and the Rev. Raymond LeBlanc, pastor of First Lutheran Church of Carson.

Ron Anderson of Fullerton and Brad Wilson of Park City, Utah, were elected to serve an additional term on the board.
