VENTURA COUNTY ROUNDUP : VENTURA : Entries Sought for Downtown Logo
Ventura’s Downtown Community Council is looking for entries in the “New Downtown” logo contest. The logo will be used in commercials, visitor guides and on souvenirs to promote the newly revitalized downtown corridor.
Submissions should incorporate the historic, cultural, economic and coastal aspects of downtown Ventura. Entries are due Sept. 30.
The winner will be chosen Oct. 5 and will receive gift certificates and merchandise worth $200.
Entry forms are being distributed and collected in downtown Ventura at Villa Tosca, Attic Trunk, the Wells Fargo branch in the Vons supermarket and the downtown police storefront.
