FOCUS: ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY NEWS : ORANGE

Area children between the ages of 5 and 17 can audition for the “Catch the Spirit” singers at 11 a.m. Sept. 11 at the Music Room, 3514 E. Chapman Ave. in Orange. The musical group was formed in 1992 by Villa Park resident Paula Burton as part of an overall mission called Celebration USA, to help reinvigorate patriotism for schoolchildren through song and education. A CD of the group’s music will be distributed to schools statewide this fall.
