HOLIDAY CLOSINGS
Monday marks the celebration of Labor Day, set aside to recognize labor’s contribution to the nation and the traditional end of summer.
* CLOSED: All government offices, courts, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchange, libraries and many businesses.
* TRANSPORTATION: MTA buses will follow Sunday schedules and Metrolink trains will be closed.
* TRASH: Regular Monday trash collection for Los Angeles city residents will be postponed until Tuesday.
