Re “Should Our Principals Be Bilingual?” Aug. 29.
Where in the world is the responsibility of tens of thousands of Latino parents who have chosen not to learn the language of the country in which they live? Beyond that, and especially with the shameful school dropout rate of Latinos, what better way is there for those parents to show an example to their kids than by demonstrating the value and absolute necessity of working to study and learn in order to improve their education and opportunities?
