Gardening Classes at Cal State Northridge

A series of half-day classes on gardening at Cal State Northridge begin this month. Instructors are experts in their fields, and students are advised to wear outdoor clothing and be prepared to get dirty.

Classes include “Making the Most of Fall for a Magic Spring” (Sept. 18), “Cacti and Succulents” (Oct. 9), “Bulbs and More Bulbs” (Nov. 6), “Pruning Fruit Trees” (Dec. 4) and “Tips for Growing Great Roses” (Jan 15).
