“The Complete Eldercare Planner” by Joy Loverde (Hyperion, 1997, $14.95). “Complete” may be a bit of a misnomer, because the book consists largely of work sheets, lists and questions to ask, rather than detailed discussions of such important issues as long-term health-care insurance, Medicare billing or estate planning. But the resource lists at the end of each chapter are invaluable, and the book can help adult children prepare a plan of action for taking care of aging parents.
