Irvine’s Catellus Promotes Mark Thomas

Mark A. Thomas has been appointed vice president of land acquisition for the merchant housing division of the Catellus Residential Group in Irvine. He was previously manager of land acquisition. Before joining Catellus, Thomas was a vice president with Union Bank of California, where he was a construction-loan portfolio manager in the real estate industries group.

* Ross Teasley has been appointed vice president of marketing at eCommercial.com in Aliso Viejo. Teasley joined the company from Autobytel.com, where he was director of creative services.

* Melissa May has been appointed director of marketing relations for the CDMA Development Group in Costa Mesa. She joined the company from Vodafone AirTouch, where she was manager of public relations and promotions for the Southern California region.

* John D. Leavitt is now the national sales manager for Cristek Interconnects Inc. in Anaheim. He was previously a sales manager for ITT Canon.

* Mike Bennett has been named branch manager for American Mortgage Express’ new location in Tustin. He was most recently executive director of Mortgage Options in Orange. Jeff LeCompte was appointed senior loan consultant. He had been vice president of United Financial Mortgage in Irvine.

* Tim Kelly has joined Tickets.com in Costa Mesa as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Kelly was formerly vice president of marketing for Sprint Telecommunications in Kansas City, Mo. He also served as vice president of brand management.
