Oxnard Consultant To Do 2 Companies’ Pension Work

J. Hernandez & Co., which serves as employee benefits broker for various public agencies and businesses in Ventura County, has been hired as a pension plan consultant for Harrison Industries and Gold Coast Recycling.

The two companies together have more than 350 employees. Trash hauler Harrison Industries serves many of the cities and unincorporated areas of Ventura County through its subsidiaries, E.J. Harrison & Sons, Santa Clara Disposal and Newbury Disposal. Gold Coast Recycling is in Ventura.

J. Hernandez & Co., founded by owner Joe Hernandez, has been in business in Oxnard since 1982.
