* Germany’s Beru withdrew its $100-million cash offer to buy Impco Technologies Inc., a Cerritos-based maker of systems that let internal-combustion engines run on propane and natural gas. Last week, Impco rejected as inadequate the unsolicited $14-a-share offer from Beru, a maker of auto ignition systems. Beru owns 15% of Impco. Impco shares closed unchanged at $13.75 on Nasdaq.
