Movie Theater
I think Barbara Stanton is doing a good thing by renovating the Markham Middle School auditorium into a movie theater (Sept. 14). I am a former Markham student. As the article said, Watts hasn’t had a theater in about 35 years. It would give people more things to do. It will also be a good idea because some people might not want to go all the way to the Magic Johnson Theaters.

I think Stanton is doing a good thing for Watts and for the people who live here, like me. I hope Stanton keeps doing more that can help Hispanics and African Americans to get along with each other and to increase the peace.
