FULLERTON
The deadline for a contest to select a name for the new museum plaza under construction in downtown Fullerton is 5 p.m. Thursday.
Anyone can submit a name for the approximately 50,000-square-foot plaza, which will be adjacent to the Fullerton Museum Center. Submissions will be presented to the Fullerton Community Services Commission in October for selection of finalists. A winner will be selected by the City Council. The winner will receive a one-year membership to the Fullerton Museum Center and four tickets to the New Year’s Eve celebration First Night Fullerton, where a dedication ceremony will take place.
