THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:

BREA

* South Brea Boulevard: Marijuana possession was reported in the 800 block at 4:08 a.m. Sunday.

* Brea Mall: A petty theft was reported in the 1000 block at 11:57 a.m. Friday.

* Brea Mall: A grand theft was reported in the 400 block at 5:24 p.m. Friday.

DANA POINT

* Dana Point Harbor at Golden Lantern: A report of shots heard at 12:14 a.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Brookhurst Street: Four male juveniles ordered breakfast at Denny’s in the 16200 block and ran out of the restaurant without paying at 2:32 a.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Salford Street: A burglary was reported in the 24000 block at 9:19 a.m. Sunday.

* Alicia Parkway: A traffic collision occurred at 1:21 a.m. Saturday. There were no injuries.

LAKE FOREST

* Mountainwood Way: A prowler was reported in the 25000 block at 7:32 p.m. Sunday.

* Muirlands Boulevard: A burglary was reported in the 24000 block at 12:17 a.m. Sunday.

* Ridge Route Road and Rockfield Boulevard: A reckless driver was reported at 12:20 a.m. Saturday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Pacific Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 25000 block at 1:12 a.m. Sunday.

* Soltero: A reckless driver was reported in the 27000 block at 10:53 a.m. Sunday.

* Via Quinto: A burglary was reported in the 26000 block at 7:09 a.m. Sunday.

PLACENTIA

* Ohio Avenue: Two vehicles were reported stolen at 8:09 a.m. Saturday.

* Warren Street: A burglary was reported at 8:16 a.m. Friday.

* North Placentia Avenue: Tagging was reported in the 1800 block at 8:45 a.m. Friday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida Del Mar: A report of a burglary in the 100 block at 9:57 a.m. Sunday.

* Avenida Pelayo: A report of a burglary in the 100 block at 9:56 p.m. Sunday.

YORBA LINDA

* Vista Montana: A petty theft was reported in the 5000 block at 1:10 p.m. Sunday.

* Rich Hill Way: A grand theft was reported in the 5000 block at 11:09 a.m. Saturday.

* Pomegranate Road: A petty theft was reported in the 24000 block at 2:17 p.m. Saturday.

OTHER COMMUNITIES

ALISO VIEJO

* Indian Hills Lane: The side window of a 1993 Jeep Cherokee parked in the 25500 block was broken sometime between 5 p.m. Sept. 21 and 7:40 a.m. Wednesday. Two cellular phones were stolen and the face plate of the stereo was removed in a probable attempt to take the stereo.

* Summerfield: A man was reported moaning and yelling from his residence in the 23400 block at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. The man was found to be under the influence of heroin and was arrested for being under the influence of narcotics.

FOOTHILL RANCH

* Alter: A burglary was reported in the 19000 block at 1:15 p.m. Saturday.

* Burbank: A burglary was reported in the 27000 block at 11:23 a.m. Friday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Monday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, La Habra, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Orange, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park and Westminster.
