Brecker, Eskovitz Set for USC Jazz Festival

USC’s seventh annual spring jazz festival, L.A. Jazz 2000, is booked for April 11-15.

It will include appearances by saxophonist Michael Brecker’s quartet on April 12; the Bruce Eskovitz Quartet and the Phil Norman Tenet on April 13; the Anthony Wilson Nonet on April 14; and guitarist John Scofield’s band paired with the duo of guitarist Charlie Hunter and percussionist Adam Cruz on April 15.

All shows are on the USC campus at Bovard Auditorium at 7 p.m. (Noon shows in Alumni Park, featuring USC students, faculty and guests, April 11-13, are free.) Tickets: (213) 740-2167.
