* The comedian performs each Monday in April at the Cinegrill in Hollywood. Her film, “Desperation Boulevard,” premiered on the Internet at https://www.aentv.com, and plays Friday and Saturday at midnight at the Sunset Laemmle.
Early Riser: Saturdays I get a nice manicure and pedicure from some women who like to draw blood. I also try to cook. That’s really scary. I made banana pecan pancakes, and I had to give them to homeless people because my boyfriend wouldn’t eat them. So I’m a giver.
Back to Nature: I do not work out. I just go in the garden and dig things. Or I walk a lot. But everyone asks me, “How come you’re not fat?” First of all, I don’t eat a side of beef each day, but also I go into the garden and plant bulbs and rotate crops. Once in a while in the afternoon, because I can’t help it, I do make a cherry cobbler. Usually what I do is eat a lot of it and give the rest to my neighbors. Because my boyfriend, Chris Brown, is never home in time. He’s off racing his cars in the morning. He has a car collection.
She’s Into Rubber: On Saturdays in the afternoons, I do have to stop into Dream Dresser for some clothing accessories. They usually have a lot of latex.
Swingin’ It Saturday Night: Sometimes I like to go dancing at the Derby and I get thrown around the dance floor. I like being thrown up in the air. And then of course I have to have some Mexican food. I’m here in the Valley, so I like Casa Vega.
And Then on Sunday . . .: Sunday morning, I like to get a nice, big, fat seaweed wrap, and then once I’m nice and relaxed, I like to go to the San Diego Zoo. It’s the best place to see primates. Then of course Greg [Glianna, her Cinegrill accompanist] and I like to practice songs that we might be doing. He’ll come over and we’ll rehearse something. I should be doing some charity work by now, shouldn’t I? Yeah, that’s it, I do charity work. . . . Of course then I go over to Sunday Mass. My favorite thing to do now is to pray that the pope is up to date.
