Last week’s results--Defeated Kansas City, 5-2, Wednesday; lost to Houston, 3-1, Friday; defeated Houston, 4-1, Saturday.

This week’s schedule--At Utah tonight; at Manitoba Friday and Saturday.

The Ice Dogs have a stronger hold on third place after defeating fourth-place Houston Saturday for their 11th victory in 13 games. . . . Doug Ast and Rob Pearson have picked up the offense. Ast had two goals Saturday, giving him 21 for the season. Pearson had two goals Wednesday, giving him 17. . . . Turner Cup playoff tickets, ranging from $12-$20, will be on sale beginning at noon Saturday at the Long Beach Arena box office.
