GARDEN GROVE

Twin Lakes Park is the site for the city’s annual Volunteer Connection and Earth Day event Saturday. Nearly 200 volunteers from Scout troops, school and church groups are expected to visit the park, 12722 Chapman Ave., from 8 a.m. to noon to paint, plant and clean up the grounds. The event will feature games and prizes, and informational displays on recycling, water conservation, tree planting and care and graffiti removal. Information: (714) 741-5372.
