Thanks for the wonderful article by Colette O’Brien, “Provence on the Rocks” (April 9). Her vivid and colorful descriptions of the people and vistas in southern France were inspiring. I appreciated the article not because I intend to go there, but because I probably never will. hWith limited vacation time and an even more limited budget, we are most likely to stick to the big cities. It’s nice to get a glimpse of what else is out there.
