Center for the Partially Sighted in West Los Angeles needs volunteers to read correspondence; to assist clients on computers; to help in the counseling program; to help with administrative tasks, general office assistance and public health fairs; and to greet clients and visitors. * American Red Cross needs volunteers to serve as first-aid and safety instructors for its Disaster Relief Service, to help distribute food, manage shelters and provide counseling for disaster victims.
