Two brothers arrested after a convenience-store robbery in Orange may be linked to a string of similar holdups in the area, authorities said Monday.
Scott Sukophand, 20, and Stuart Sukophand, 18, both of Brea, were arrested Sunday afternoon after Orange police got an anonymous tip that the two may have been involved in an early morning holdup at a Circle K store on West Chapman Avenue, police Capt. Art Romo said.
The men were spotted in a car that had been reported stolen last week from Knott’s Berry Farm and were apprehended in Cerritos after a pursuit on the Santa Ana and Riverside freeways, Romo said.
Investigators think the suspects may have been involved in several other convenience-store robberies recently, Romo said.
