The City Council renewed its contract with the financial consulting firm Dain Rauscher to handle the analysis and tax spreads for a $25-million special tax bond issue in the East Placentia Community Facilities District.
The Mello-Roos bonds were issued in 1990 to pay for various public improvements in the district. Property owners living in the area pay off the bonds through a special levy on their property tax bill.
Pamela Becker, the firm’s representative, will continue to work with the city as she has for the last seven years preparing the financial and tax calculations for the district.
