The Fusion is coming off a 2-1 exhibition victory the same night over Haiti’s national team in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Diego Serna and former Duke basketball player Jay Heaps scored for Miami. If any team has the speed to test the Galaxy defense, it’s the Fusion. Miami goalkeeper Jeff Cassar is questionable because of a groin strain. Galaxy defender Ezra Hendrickson, who has scored two own-goals against the Fusion, will miss the match while on World Cup qualifying duty for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
