New England goalkeeper Jeff Causey made perhaps his biggest save of the season Saturday night. But there weren’t many there to see it.

Causey blocked a penalty kick late in regulation as the Revolution and Chicago Fire played to a 1-1 overtime tie on a cold and drizzly night before 6,737 fans at Foxboro Stadium, the Revolution’s second-smallest crowd ever.

Causey preserved the tie with 11 minutes left in regulation by turning aside Chicago forward Ante Razov’s penalty kick. The shot was awarded after a New England hand-ball.
