Most parking problems for TAPS Fish House and Brewery should be gone by the end of next week, when workers put the finishing touches on the restaurant’s parking lot.

Since September, the downtown restaurant has been operating without an adjacent parking lot. Valets park guests’ cars on nearby streets.

According to representatives of developer CIM, construction workers are installing curbs and sidewalks around the new lot next to the restaurant at Brea Boulevard and Birch Street. They will be paving the lot soon afterward and expect to paint stripes for more than 100 spaces on the new pavement by next Thursday.
