LAKE FOREST
Over the opposition of business owners, the Planning Commission has unanimously recommended that the City Council adopt a revised version of the El Toro Redevelopment Project plan.
Members of the recently formed Lake Forest Commercial and Industrial Business Assn. spoke against the plan at Thursday’s meeting and have started to collect signatures on a petition against the project.
They will have another chance to argue their case when the plan goes before the City Council at 7 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 23161 Lake Center Drive.
