Cheesecake Factory Income Shows 2nd-Quarter Rise

The Cheesecake Factory Inc. in Calabasas reported net income of $8.2 million for the second quarter ended June 30, up from $5.3 million for the same quarter in 1999. Revenue rose 23% to $105.2 million.

The Cheesecake Factory operates 35 upscale restaurants and a commercial bakery.
