Homeowners and renters can receive property tax assistance from the Community Services Department this month, including information on possible rebates and returns.
Community services officials will provide the free assistance from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. Aug. 10 at the Community Services Center at 101 W. La Habra Blvd. No appointment is necessary.
Residents are required to bring a copy of their property tax bill, as well as a proof of income for 1999. Tax returns could be up to $250 for some.
