SAN CLEMENTE
The Planning Commission has approved a permit allowing live entertainment and dancing at Goody’s Tavern.
The entertainment, including live music, disc jockeys and karaoke, will be allowed only inside the tavern.
Goody’s Tavern, 206 S. El Camino Real, has been in business since 1979. It is in a building that opened as a restaurant in 1929.
Goody’s owner Thomas Stall applied for the permit to increase the draw to his establishment. The tavern has been using a jukebox for entertainment.
