THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports:

BREA

* West Imperial Highway: A petty theft was reported in the 100 block at 7:54 a.m. Tuesday.

* North Cliffwood Park Street: Disturbing the peace was reported in the 300 block at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday.

BUENA PARK

* Knott Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 8900 block at 3:16 p.m. Tuesday.

DANA POINT

* Dana Point Harbor: Police responded to a civil dispute over repossession of jet skis at 5:45 p.m. Monday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Warner Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 11000 block at 9:36 a.m. July 27.

* Brookhurst Street: Police responded to a vandalism that occurred in the 16000 block at 3:48 p.m. Sunday.

* Pigeon Lane: A juvenile disturbance was reported in the 200 block at 1:06 a.m. Sunday.

FULLERTON

* North Placentia Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 1100 block at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday.

* South Placentia Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 600 block at 8:49 p.m. Tuesday.

* South Lemon Street: Vandalism was reported in the 1000 block at 8:36 p.m. Monday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Westminster Avenue: Police arrested a Garden Grove man on suspicion of evading a police officer in the 8800 block at 5:33 p.m. Friday.

* Magnolia Avenue: An armed robbery was reported in the 11000 block at 9:03 p.m. Friday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* 5th Street: Police responded to a hit-and-run accident involving a parked vehicle in the 200 block at 7:41 a.m. July 27.

* Beach Boulevard: A robbery was reported in the 17000 block at 8:45 p.m. Friday.

* Crescent Drive: An attempted burglary occurred in the 8000 block at 7:38 p.m. July 27.

* Warner Avenue: A vehicle burglary occurred in the 7000 block at 10:34 a.m. Saturday.

IRVINE

* Adams Avenue and Jamboree Road: A motorist was cited for suspicion of possessing marijuana at 2:08 a.m. Tuesday.

* Blackfin Avenue: Silverware and jewelry were reported stolen from a house in the 4100 block at 6:38 p.m. Tuesday.

* Von Karman Avenue: Baseball tickets were reported stolen from a desk drawer at a business in the 17000 block at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Loma Terrace: Police arrested a 20-year-old Laguna Beach man on suspicion of drug possession and resisting arrest in the 300 block at 3:31 a.m. Tuesday.

* South Coast Highway: Police arrested a man wanted on two warrants after he was found sleeping in back of a movie theater in the 100 block at 6:41 a.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Costeau Street: A prowler was reported in the 25200 block at 7:53 p.m. Tuesday.

* Hidden Trail Road: Reckless driving was reported in the 25200 block at 5:37 p.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Crown Valley Parkway: A burglary was reported in the 24700 block at 4:32 a.m. Wednesday.

* Stratton Lane: A burglary was reported in the 24700 block at 4:32 a.m. Wednesday.

LA HABRA

* Gordon Avenue and Valley Home Avenue: A hit-and-run was reported at the intersection at 8:59 p.m. Tuesday.

* West Hillandale Avenue: A case of assault and battery was reported in the 1230 block at 10:59 a.m. Tuesday.

* West Imperial Highway: An auto theft was reported in the 500 block at 3:24 a.m. Wednesday.

LAKE FOREST

* Bridgemont Road: A burglary was reported in the 27200 block at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday.

* El Toro Road: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 23300 block at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday.

* Rockfield Boulevard: A grand theft was reported in the 24300 block at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday.

LA PALMA

* Kington Way: A burglary was reported in the 8400 block at 8:32 a.m. Monday.

* Centerpointe Drive: A grand theft was reported in the 100 block at 2:46 p.m. Monday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Mallorca Lane: Police arrested a person on suspicion of a narcotics violation in the 26900 block at 11:54 a.m. Tuesday.

* Marguerite Parkway: A petty theft was reported in the 28100 block at 8:56 p.m. Tuesday.

* Trabuco Road: A petty theft was reported in the 26900 block at 12:04 a.m. Wednesday.

* White Fir Lane: A petty theft was reported in the 27600 block at 11:53 p.m. Tuesday.

PLACENTIA

* East Yorba Linda Boulevard: An indecent exposure was reported at a pool in the 100 block at 3:19 p.m. Tuesday.

RANCHO SANTA

MARGARITA

* Avenida de las Flores: Classroom windows at Trabuco Mesa Elementary School in the 21300 block reportedly were smashed with rocks at 9 a.m. Friday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida Mesita: Two people were cited for possessing marijuana, drug paraphernalia and open containers of alcohol in the 100 block at 10:10 p.m. Monday.

SANTA ANA

* Sycamore Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 500 block at 7:37 a.m. Tuesday.

* Circula Panorama Place: A prowler was reported in the 12200 block at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday.

* Ethelbee Way: Vandalism was reported in the 13000 block at 7:04 p.m. Tuesday.

* Browning Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 12700 block at 5:02 a.m. Wednesday.

VILLA PARK

* Ridgeview Circle: A report of a petty theft in the 18900 block at 4:23 p.m. Friday.

YORBA LINDA

* Silver Canyon Road: Disturbing the peace was reported in the 5300 block at 4:43 p.m. Tuesday.

* Canyon Drive: Malicious mischief was reported in the 20100 block at 5:56 p.m. Tuesday.

* East Santa Ana Canyon Road: A robbery and carjacking were reported in the 5600 block at 12:04 a.m. Tuesday.

* North Merrimac Drive: A hit-and-run misdemeanor was reported in the 100 block at 7:56 p.m. Tuesday.

* South Night Star Way: A grand theft was reported in the 1200 block at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday.

* East Santa Ana Canyon Road: A petty theft was reported in the 8100 block at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday.

ALISO VIEJO

* Matisse Circle: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 100 block at 11:58 a.m. Tuesday.

* Aliso Creek Road: A narcotics violation was reported in the 26700 block at 10:52 p.m. Monday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Laguna Woods, Newport Beach, Orange, Seal Beach, Tustin and Westminster.
