The Keith Cos. Inc.

The Costa Mesa engineering and consulting services company reported second-quarter net income of $1.1 million, or 20 cents a share, up from $405,000, or 11 cents a share, for the second quarter of 1999. Revenue increased 48% to a record $12.7 million.
