Telmar Holdings Buys Hitech Plug-In Unit

Telmar Holdings Inc., a telecommunications equipment reseller based in Irvine, said Thursday that it has acquired the Hitech Corp. Plug-In sales division in West Chester, Pa. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Hitech, which has 35 employees and annual sales of $25 million, purchases used circuit boards and resells them to telephone companies and other businesses.

Telmar, which merged in December with circuit pack reseller Allied Communications of Council Bluffs, Iowa, said it expects sales to exceed $150 million this year.
