British Airways has delayed the debut of its highly touted “World Traveller Plus” class--a type of upgraded coach section with more legroom and wider seats--until October. It had been expected to begin this summer. The London-New York route will get the section first; London-Los Angeles is to be added by spring 2001, officials said last week. Also slated for the LAX route by spring: “Club World,” business-class seats that unfold into a flat, 6-foot-long bed, which debuted last month in New York.
