Nestle Prepared to Sell Potato Division to Simplot

Nestle USA Inc. in Glendale has agreed to sell its processed potato business to Simplot, a privately held agribusiness in Boise, Idaho. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The sale includes Nestle’s three potato processing plants in Idaho and Washington. Nestle is a diversified food and beverage company and part of Nestle S.A. Switzerland.
