YORBA LINDA
City staff members have recommended that the Planning Commission vote tonight to approve a second-story addition to a Park Place home.
Plans for the addition sparked a lawsuit filed by Park Place neighbor Ed Rakochy, who said Martin Zazzara’s second-story addition would harm the historical integrity of the 80- and 90-year-old homes built east of the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace off Yorba Linda Boulevard.
In a report to the commission, city staff members said the project would have no significant effect on historic resources.
The Planning Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 4845 Casa Loma Ave. Information: (714) 961-7130.
