SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
The Rev. Gary Tucker has been elected president of the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce.
Tucker, 52, minister of pastoral care at Rancho Capistrano, joined the board of directors less than three years ago when another director resigned.
Tucker said he is honored that business leaders selected a member of the faith community as president of the chamber.
“Everyone has had someone make a difference in their lives,” he said. “We each make a difference and my [focus] is: What can we do as a chamber to make a difference in our community?”
