6 Injured in Crash on Pacific Coast Highway
A man was trapped inside a vehicle late Sunday and five other people received minor injuries in a head-on collision on Pacific Coast Highway near the Ventura and Los Angeles county line.
The accident, which occurred about 7 p.m., closed the highway in both directions.
Authorities said the trapped man was unconscious as they worked to extricate him after the collision between a Honda and sport utility vehicle. The Ventura County Fire Department planned to airlift him to Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks.
No other information was available late Sunday.
