The city will offer a refresher driving course for residents 55 or older at the Community Center on Saturday.
The daylong 55 Alive Mature Driver Class was made possible by cooperation between the city’s Community Services Department and Adult Education Program. It will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is designed to keep La Habra’s senior drivers in practice and up to date with traffic laws.
Participants must register before the class, and the fee is $2, city officials said. Those who complete the course will receive a certificate that might reduce their insurance premiums up to 15%.
